The Process
Initial Design Consultation
Before we begin, our team like to meet with our clients either in person or by video chat to have an in-depth conversation to discuss the details, scope of work and budget for your project. We also review any floorplans you have and get an idea of the inspiration and vision you have for your space.
During this meeting, we will discuss the estimated timeline and schedule for your project and present a fee proposal for you to review. The fee for this initial design consultation is $175.
Stage One - Discover
The initial concept stage is crucial to guide the project in the right direction. Our team will complete an architectural review and suggest any amendments to your floorplan and fixtures, such as kitchens and bathrooms, that will help to improve the overall flow of your space. This will be done through an in person site visit, video call or floorplan drawings depending on your project and location.
We will present to you an initial design concept based on the overall vision for the project, including colour palettes, mood boards, fixtures and finishes and soft furnishings to ensure cohesion of our style with your vision.
Stage Two - Design
The design development stage is the biggest part of every project but that’s why you have us! We use the colour palettes and mood boards from Stage One to select all of the finishes and fixtures for your space including flooring, tiles, lighting and tapware etc. We also design custom joinery for your kitchens, bathrooms and wardrobes so that they work perfectly for you and your family and provide a full joinery documentation pack for the cabinetmaker to work their magic.
We provide you with 3D photorealistic renderings of your project so that you can visualise how your space will look before final sign off and we provide a complete fixture and finishes schedule which ensures nothing is missed and budgets are maintained.
Our team prides themselves on ensuring our clients happiness throughout every project so you will receive fortnightly progress emails from us and you can be as involved or uninvolved in the selections process as you wish.
Stage Three - Direct
During the direct phase, we are always in communication with your builders and trades, including site visits (as required), to ensure our design vision is coming to life.
We will take care of the curation of furniture and decoration pieces for your space and present this to you in a final decoration presentation for you to review. We will liaise with our trade suppliers in regard to organising payment and delivery of your soft furnishings and collate this in an easy to read furniture schedule for you.
Stage Four - Deliver
The final, and without a doubt, the best part of every project is the delivery stage. All of your construction is complete and our team will be onsite to oversee the final styling of all rooms ready for you and your family to enjoy. This includes hanging artworks, dressing beds and placing accessories in the perfect spot.
We will take photos and videos of the final space and leave you to create lifelong memories with your loved ones.
